Abby Elliott

Abby Elliott, born June 16, 1987 is an American comedian and actress. She was a Saturday Night Live cast member from 2008 to 2012. Since then , she has played in the Bravo comedy Odd Mom Out as well as the NBC sitcom Indebted. She is the daughter of comedian/actor Chris Elliott. Elliott was the older of two kids and was born in New York City. She is the daughter of Paula Niedert a talent coordinator and comedian Chris Elliott. Her grandfather was Bob Elliott (radio comedian). Her younger sister is an actress Bridey Elliott. They were both born in Wilton, Connecticut. She attended Immaculate High School Danbury, Connecticut where she was an actor in school plays and musicals. After finishing Immaculate High School in 2005 she was accepted into Marymount Manhattan College in New York City but was unable to attend the first year of her studies .In 2010, Elliott had a romantic relationship with fellow Saturday Night Live cast member Fred Armisen. Their relationship ended in September of the year 2011. Elliott was married to Bill Kennedy, a TV writer, on September 3 of 2016. The couple has a daughter, Edith Pepper Kennedy. Elliott learned about comedy at The Groundlings, and then began performing and training for different sketch comedy shows at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB), Los Angeles.
